New York is working to enhance the way it does business with commercial vehicle operators through online business services.  OSCAR is a dynamic, multi-agency e-government initiative developed by the Departments of Taxation and Finance, Transportation and Motor Vehicles; the Division of State Police; the New York Thruway Authority; the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration; and the New York State Motor Truck Association.

This internet-based system will allow your IFTA, IRP, SSRS, and HUT credentials to be obtained on-line.  You won't have to fill out multiple forms, visit state offices, or wait for the mail.
